Hopefully they have an actual villain with an overall arc than what they had with Super which was just the one with Zamasu. The rest were rehashes of the first two new movies before the recent Broly getting a new movie and tournaments.
Also, a complaint I had with Super is that it had very little at stake and tension. The Dragon Balls kind of made death moot but that should mean they you should be killing people left and right in glorious fashion. You can already tell the main Z crew will never die again because of Supers unwillingness to evolve them beyond the abilities that we know they have. Turning Beerus into Kramer who would crash on earth also stopped potential new villains from appearing since he could easily take care of them. You kind of destroyed galactic scale battles when you introduce god into it. The progression of a new villain after Buu has to jump to a multi-dimensional level if they even try for a new villain after Zamasu.
I guess they're already doing that with Super Dragon Ball Heroes which does better than Super in the very few episodes that have released and was only created as promo episodes for the game. If Super was going in the slice-of-life direction in certain episodes, I wouldn't mind but don't try to trick me which these half-hearted arcs that just recolor Goku's new power that make me give a little more credit to GT. A lot of the decisions with GT were bad but they at least feel like they took risks, in design and characters. I kind of wish Toriyama didn't shit the bed with Gohan because I feel Goku has overstayed his welcome.

Bardock now being replaced with Gotenks is literally because of a single strong option in the form of getting HKD.
This opens up so many mix up options over a sliding one which allows you to tech, but this option is so limited on the roster for the characters who can pull it off, but because it's a team game people will just take the strongest one who can and run 2 others to carry this HKD win con.
Why I compare it to SFV is this is the same shit that, that game does where only 3-5 characters will have truly strong mix up options and those will be the majority played characters that season by a large margin. Only there the issue is more apparent because you don't have this one super strong set up char standing behind 2 others till it's time.
It also shows ignorance in the devs of the game when nerfinig Bardock and 16 they don't just see the exact same shit with other characters who just weren't picked due to them being stronger outside the HKD but when they're gone they're just now going to without a second thought change up again to the next, next HKD enabler on the list, it doesn't matter how weak they are when they can get you to the golden moment that gives you overwhelming options to get in.
Answer feels either to make it a more universal option for the characters to get proper HKD situations for the entire cast to work with or at least common enough that it brings out more variety then picking the objectively best one for a slot on the team.
