Drive forms were confirmed ages ago. They use different mechanics now though, they're tied to that keyblade transformation mechanic that was shown in a bunch of trailers, though some like Second form seem to be more traditional (think Limit form but for KH2 Sora)

They've already been pushing that for a while now, and the contingent of voices supporting GamePass and PSNow are growing. Especially from the kinds of fags who get excited at the idea of streaming games to their phones, and claim that it will open games up to billions more people as if more people in the hobby is a good thing (they think it is). Most of the resistance to the idea is still hanging on the false assumption that you at least own the license to the digital copy of the game, which of course - you don't… it's only granted under condition to an account. Those who see through that, tend to also support streaming/on-demand, since they know they own nothing and are ok with that.
As far as digital support goes, it's surreal watching people try to justify that with the excuse that it's "too comfy" to just pick out games from the couch and never have to get up to swap a disk. I grew up when HDDs were still optional in many PCs, and the only way to play games was to swap out multiple disks pretty much any time a new area had to be loaded up into memory. Never mind games like FF on the PSX or Lost Odyssey on the 360 which came with three-four disks and everybody was fine with that since it took dozens of hours to get to the point where you'd need to swap disks. I used to think it was just assholes being supremely lazy, but now I'm starting to wonder if part of the problem is that people don't even play the fucking games they buy. They "engage" with them just long enough to reach the point of slightest resistance, then get frustrated and put in a different game. It reminds me of the age-old problem of Cable TV when I was growing up. 180 channels, and not a goddamned thing on to watch.. so people just spent hours flipping through channels. People flip through their games in a similar fashion these days. And that WOULD be a pain in the ass to keep getting up to swap disks to maintain that behavior. Essentially, people have no attention span or drive to actually play anything, so they just keep saturating themselves in stimulation without effort or investment until it's time to go to bed/work/walk the dog… whatever.
The only argument I've ever heard for the convenience of digital over physical that held any water, was in regards to VR - since that legitimately is a pain in the ass to detangle yourself from, recalibrate, clean the lenses, etc. But that's really more of a limitation of the hardware which doesn't have a pass-through camera toggle so you can see what you're doing without having to remove the headset.

No the ending is not known and likely won't be because the nig whole stole the games got caught because he used his real name and contact information on facebook to try and sell them. Secondly, you don't need to know the real ending to have a salt party since the information spread in the original Boston Salt Party was incorrect anyway.
