If you are working a part time job to pay for college, while in college, you've already fucked up. They expect you to be networking and/or working at those companies for free as internships. If colleges were there to help you get into the dream job you wanted, they haven't done that in a long time. There's more students in college debt then there are people who got into the position they wanted by going into college.
