I've been trying to find some articles but most of the ones I'm encountering just seem to be shilling the game by saying it has some content now compared to no content when it launched earlier in the year. This Devil's Roar stuff sounds interesting to me though. When I played the beta I wished there were more environmental hazards in the game.

Is the progression in the game still entirely cosmetic?

Are the enemies still brain dead?

Or is the only interesting part of the game, the pvp, still non-existent since you will never find anyone in the sea and even if you do there is no risk to the pvp since you just start again with you items and gold intact?
