I still find it unusual that after thirty five or so years of fuck all being done with the work, Dororo got a PS2 adaptation, and not only that, it came west as well.

This game is just so much fun, I can't keep myself from coming back to it every now and then - picking it up and having a blast. Just finished another LIGHT symbol playthrough a few days ago.

To be fair, there was also a live action movie a few years after the PS2 game from what I recall. Not sure if the vidya showed enough standing interest or if there were already plans. Don't like how (((Amazon))) has exclusive distribution rights to the new anime; makes me wonder if they've got influence exerted elsewhere in it, but I suppose time will tell.

The Thing game that was a sequel to the original (original as in the John Carpenter version instead of the original 50s movie it was based on). I think everyone knows that was bad. Can't remember if it was better or worse than the prequel The Thing movie they did before.

It's a very well made mod though. Even runs on an N64 if you have a flash cart. I recommend playing it in that hacked N64 emulator that runs Goldeneye (and PD) locked at 60 FPS with mouse look.

as a side note I've heard Buster's Bad Dream/Scary Dreams is actually a pretty good game as it's one of the last titles made by "Treasure"
