Real Talk: Why do so many anons hate Mark and if so then why haven't we moved to /vg/? I can't really understand why people have issue with the board owner. I see people calling him an incompetent nintendrone that's also an attention whore. I think he's gotten a bit better over the years. He's barely capcodes anymore, deletes more cancer and generally does a decent job. Yet more people hate him nowadays, why is this?

People don't hate him, they hate his actions. Though, it does reflect on him as a person. Mark is very bipolar with his moderation, in one instance he can be a powerhouse. cleaning up good, in another, he can be a fucking retard not knowing what makes /v/ good in the first place. Headphones thread is an example.

The issue is that this is too common for the guy.

Mark just seems slightly incompetent and has very bad PR, but he doesn't seem conciously harmful. He just makes stupid decisions, flipflops on them on one hand and on the other doesn't want to rectify them when they are actually bad decisions.
