If there were a remake of Wario World that were to add double the worlds and bosses, what would you want that content to be like?

I honestly enjoyed Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 the most out of all the Wario Lands. It's a solid title, not overly complicated or easy and has a great list of features. Shame it wasn't expanded upon in the sequel.

It's funny how we get Wario threads all the time, but no new game. Fuck it, it's not funny at all. And no, the microgames spin-off titles do not count for what we'd love to see instead from Nintendo.

3 was the last good wario land. Everything after was a downward spiral, which is a shame because I really liked the premise of Wario being a greedy asshole who robs other villains and plunders forgotten treasures solely because the good guys won't get angry about it. It was a perfect excuse for a nintendo-friendly anti-hero who didn't give a damn about goodness and justice, and then they dropped a bunch of low-effort shit like Master of Disguise and Shake It.

Whatever happened to his castle in 2 anyways? It's not relevant during 3 and 4, and in MoD and SI he lives in a shitty generic house instead.

Wasn't Shake It a rather high effort game considering they used the hand drawn graphics instead of some ugly 2.5D like usual? It's a shame it had the waggle shoehorned in though.

Closest thing we're getting to a new game is Pizza Tower, which is shaping up to be pretty decent.

If it was still by treasure I'd like to see it revamped quite a bit. Wario World was pretty boring once the novelty of piledriving your enemies wore off. I feel like they wanted to make a sick Wario action game, but halfway through development, decided Wario games were all supposed to have puzzle elements.

Maybe in terms of graphic design, but the gameplay was a blatant rehash of 4.

1 and 2 were good because they rewarded you for thinking outside the box and finding secrets with either treasure or alternate story paths respectively; 3 was fun because they made all the shit you found matter and kept an open world feel by letting you backtrack to find stuff with new abilities. 4 just doesn't have any of that; it's a generic platformer with no meaningful secrets nor feeling of progression beyond "complete the corridors to make something happen".

Remastering VBWL would be acknowledging that Gunpei Yokoi made a good game, and the yakuza only cares about money, which the Virtual Boy failed to rake in.
