Fallout 1 and 2 were best

Tactics I haven't played yet but I want to with how everyone raves about it (despite its slight weirdness)

New Vegas was good

I took forever to play it because Fallout 3 was garbage but New Vegas is pretty good, full of references everywhere. Could do with fewer stronk womyn though. I'm a sucker for the setting though.

Many people make the mistake of thinking more weapons/quests/endings makes a better game. Those people do not understand that it's the experience that makes a good game. Fallout 3's revolutionary freedom, atmosphere, and exploration make it the definitive Fallout game.
