No, if they're in those plastic security cases - they're not behind the glass. Only games that people want get to go behind the glass, and when there - they're just stacked individually to make space. They only get put in the plastic cases if they're going on the garbage shelf with the used games and stuff that doesn't sell anymore. They usually don't bother with the plastic shells for bargain bin games since those are basically just the shit that they don't really care that much if it gets stolen - because at least then the inventory is moving and they can write it off as a loss on their insurance and get paid something for it.

It's quite common knowledge that modern rendering techniques play better with modern hardware than older ones. It's why shit like Vulcan is so much more efficient than OpenGL, for example. And it extends to code as well. They're not fixing the past, they're adding on to it.
Think about something like TF2, for example. It's been around and alive for so long and they've added so much to it that the current iteration of the engine is incomparable to the original Source Engine. But at the same time, the game runs worse on identical settings than it did in the past, because of all the shit they added. You just need to wipe it clean and rewrite it at some point. You can't do that with TF2 because it's an online game, so they'd need a sequel or some overcomplicated transition period, but these are singleplayer games. Sure, technology doesn't innovate often enough to need an engine rewrite every damn game, but when your engine is literally old enough to drink, you should probably consider making something new. To put that in perspective, this is the equivalent of making Breath of the Wild in the Ocarina of Time engine.

2 shitty flash games, actually. I've played both of them as-of 2017. They're kept permanently unfinished to milk donation whales indefinitely (it was pulling in unreasonable amounts of cash, as in enough to hire somebody full-time). He actually couldn't animate vaginal sex, which gets hilarious if your character is female. Many characters have teasing of certain fetishes like bondage that got cut in favor of recycled animations because Jason is a lazy nigger. Also, the only female option at the time was literally a cosplaying furry, as in, went to a furry convention in a world which is already populated by furries; it was the most retarded thing ever, and I got some good laughs at the writings expense. The music had a couple good bits, probably because none of it was made by Jason.
Frankly they are boring, low effort trash that only exists because there are no competitors.

i guess they thought by turning fallout into an online shooter without npcs quests and stories they could skip the time and idea-consuming task of coming up with some stories to fill their gamebyro engine, but failed to realize that their coding skills are non existent and the engine they use stems from morrowind era.
the writing on the wall was it would end up the trainwreck it is, question is- if todd and pete couldn't see it coming, are they still the right guys for the job - or does bethesda need new leadership.
