>LA Times - At 2:55 PM today, authorities were alerted of a murder in progress at the restaurant Tres Bien. A customer, one Glen Elg, was found dead from a coffee cup poisoned with Potassium Cyanide. The prime suspect is the waitress who served him the deadly Javaccino, Ms. Maggey Byrde.
>A former police officer, Byrde had gained infamy in September 2017 for an incident where she stood trial under the charge of murdering her co-worker and lover Dustin Prince. Disgraced by the incident, she'd resigned from her position and was hired at the establishment.
>When questioned, Byrde was adamant of her innocence, insisting that the culprit behind Elg's death was a second man. However, a bottle of Cyanide was found in her bloodstained apron; suspicious enough circumstance that she's been taken into custody.
>Noted Defense Attorney Phoenix Wright, previously rumored to be in England as part of an exchange with the American Legal League of Attorneys, has been listed as Byrde's lawyer in her trial. The presiding Prosecutor is Winston Payne, one of Wright's self-styled rivals.
