I kind of got bored of my keyboard+mouse games, so I am looking for games I can play with a gamepad. Looking mostly for newer stuff because if it's old chances are high I already played it. I used to play a lot of racing games, but since I have a racing wheel I don't really play those on gamepads anymore.

Tetris and other similar games need an arcade stick, fighting games too.

Racing games play better on a wheel.

I guess rpgs are ok on a controller because the menuing, but m+kb is going to be marginally better.

Use a DS4 and enable Gyro as mouse on PC

Well, Gyro I'd say is about maybe, 85% efficiency as a form of mouse control. Aside from maybe the absolute highest level of play it's a great substitute for general mouse input.

Most games can be played with a controller, but recently I've been playing a few games that are like, controller only. These games are legitimately difficult to play with a keyboard/mouse.

Autistic podracing wipeout-port that is lightweight, clean, moddable, and can run on fucking anything. Big recommend.

We all know this. A classic. But it's been a while since I replayed it, and probably has been for you too. Worth revisiting, surprisingly moody atmosphere too.

Really, really cool 2D exploration game. Wilderness survival in an alien world, with cool environmental details, great area atmospheres, and weird wildlife. Hard as fuck

Remake of the old flash game. Focused platforming with crazy obstacles. Good for bite-sized 5-minute sessions

Been playing Guilty Gear and there's absolutely no fucking way I'd be able to manage that shit on a keyboard. Controller only game for sure.

Emulate everything. If you think you've played everything decent, you haven't. 80% of good games are locked away behind incompatibility, but emulators fix that. Go play good games, the best your computer can emulate.

Keyboards are unironically a top tier peripheral for fightan. Input accuracy far exceeds what you could achieve on a pad, and the button layout can be made similar to arcade sticks/hitboxes.
