60fps is more important to me, hackers are an issue caused by the developers through either making it too easy (just using a cheat table in CE for example) and/or not banning people for it. Dark Souls are prime examples of both.

Depends. If the hackers are doing something funny with the tools they have, then if anything they're a benefit. If they're just doing it to cheese the game and ruin it for everybody else, then they're a detriment. Hackers are in my experience a lot more common on PC, but old online console games usually get hacked pretty badly.

Only good things can come of hackers. They are bascially expert QA. Ideally they force a developer to react to their shittily programmed game and do something about it. If they don't, well, now you know they don't give a fuck and can move on to a game with a future.

I no longer play online outside of Wurm so they're of little consequence or working with my gang so they're no detriment. Consoles can go hang though I saw the most fuckery on the treesiddy.

Ultimately it depends on how shit the game is and how cancerous the people playing it are, if the game and people are trash then I'm fine with hackers ruining it as the salt manufactured may well be more entertaining than continuing to play. If the game is decent (though poorly coded if hackers are fugging it) then I'd just move to another server as there's little point trying to combat someone who can jump into godmode and is only looking to make a fucking mess of everything.
