A good example for the latter is Rogue Trooper. Definitely comfy. Not a great game but thoroughly pleasant, very little wrong with it.
I'm struggling to find an example for the former though. I've had great times with many games but I could never classify a game as being "hard boner" material all the way. I usually play games long enough that I figure out ways to break their intended balances and loops. By the time I'm "done" with a game there's little magic left to it. Either I've grown to hate it because I've run into its limitations too much or I love it but eventually get bored any way. Maybe revisiting a game years later is the best sign of its quality in my eyes. Here are some games I always revisit.
>Burnout 3
>Halo 1-3
>Battlefield 2 (installed it for the 4th or so time the other day)
>TES Oblivion
>Dark Messiah
>GTA 4
>Mirror's Edge (Time Trials mode)
>Quake Live

Would you recommend Titan Quest to someone who doesn't like excessive grind? I've never been into Diablo-likes too much. I know they can be addictive but that's not what I look for in a game.
