if you aren't a complete and utter pleb you will see this after playing 3-4 campaigns on expert and then trying any other difficulty.

At the time, I considered that playing on expert mode was for grown-ups or people with really good skill due to me reading it was really challenging on Gamefaqs etc. Besides, I wasn't that good at FPS games, I think it was my first non-Nintendo videogame. Advanced mode was still easy enough if you were careful, but I was an impressionable teenager back then. The tank left a strong impression on me because of how easily it could fuck you up, there were little rooms for error and I loved this newfound challenge.
