Since people call you a "Nazi" these days over the most banal shit, that made me realize more and more that most "Villains" Did literally nothing wrong, and that made me want to revisit some old games that had alternative choices, like fallout, and want to side with them
With that said, I'm looking for any good games with alternative endings, where you can also side with the villains. It can be a second half of the game, or just a few end game decisions, I'm all for it, games where you select your campaign or side at start don't count

I remember playing Streets of Rage with my big brother as kids, and at the end you can choose to side with the final boss. One of us chose to side with him and then at the end we had to fight each other to the death as the other's final boss.
It was a game all about nigger gangs and street crime, so I'm not sure it counts as "did nothing wrong".

Shin Megami Tensei games have different storylines/endings depending on your decisions throughout the game. And usually the "evil" side is the morally better choice. Although, neutral is usually the best since it has more content and the "real" ending.

>Doesn't one of the games have hitler? Can you side with him?
That's Persona 2 and you can't side with Hitler since Persona is for cucks and won't let you be a bad guy. I'd say you really have to just try SMT Nocturne and see if you like the premise/gameplay or not. It's a really polarizing series.

The extended edition of Shadowrun Returns:Dragonfall lets you side with the bad guys (after you kill your own party), but it effectively results in an immediate bad ending.
You still get to have some drinks with the big brute you tried to kill you at the start of the game.

For bare minimum basics. SMT has the standard setting of a Post-Apocalyptic Tokyo after a demon setting, so it's not hell as much as "hell on earth" with demons and angels walking around. In addition, you recruit party members from said demons by negotiating with them. There are moral choices spread throughout that can give you a standard three endings most of the time Law, Neutral and Chaos (though same games like Nocturne have more).
Persona is always set in current year Japan with High School students doing High School students things. it's a spin off of SMT. The first two entries in the series mostly glossed over the High School setting but Persona 3 onwards made more than half the "gameplay" be dating simulators.

Actually, Persona 5 lets you side with the big bad evil god at the end, making the public worship you forever and it ends on a rather menacing evil grin from the now-Lawful Evil protagonist.
Yes, Persona 5 is shit and it's not much of a difference, but I wanted to argue anyway

No, it's some kind of multiverse theory thing. I don't wanna spoil too much, but Persona is basically a timeline where the things that happened in SMT 1 didn't happen.

It's basically an instant death ending. There are like 3 choices in the game that are Yes or No questions and only one doesn't cuck you out of an entire in game month's worth of content. Not really comparable to SMT which has moral choices littered throughout the game.
>>15746761
>So, does persona take place in the same universe as SMT, or what?
Same "multiverse" if anything. The world is getting constantly "reset" in SMT games so there are many "universes".
>do you have some handy dandy pic-guide for beginners
I don't have the pic on me but I know it exists. I recommend SMT Nocturne (which is actually SMT III) to start off with because again, the universe is just reset everytime so there's no overarching plot. If you really really wanted to start off with the first games, you'd actually need to go straight past Shin Megami Tensei for the Playstation and got straight to Megami Tensei on the NES.

What I mean is do both series have shared characters? I also assume both have the same developers, or at least publishers.
I can assume something bad happens in SMT to make the game "Post apocalyptic" and persona is the alternative timeline where that didn't happen, since we have high school shitters and everything. Does this also mean that SMT is a M rated game, or has a darker tone, and persona is the "T for Teen" version of it, due to tone?

To clarify, you are playing as High School age shitters in both games. Persona takes place in a world where everything is still normal and they are still going to High School doing High School things, meanwhile SMT features High School age kids in the immediate aftermath of an apocalyptic event doing "decide if the world is worth saving" things.
>Does this also mean that SMT is a M rated game, or has a darker tone, and persona is the "T for Teen" version of it, due to tone?
I don't think any of the SMT series entries hits M rated content but I might be wrong.

When was the last time this was the case? Really. The only time I can think of them as "arrogant" is in Tolkien and even then not by much. They just lived long enough to not give a shit. I'm sure if humans were immortal beings they too would come off as arrogant assholes to everyone else. To me, it sounds more like a kike insert for European people the way they are treated.

The one thing I don't like about the games is how they do the morality system. In the first game, it's a choice between being an overall good, but still an asshole, guy in scary armor, and a stupid evil guy. In the second game, both choices are now certifiably evil, but it's still just a choice of smart evil vs stupid evil.
