Tetris The Grand Master 2 Plus.
If you can't get it emulating properly or have issues with input lag, or just find it inconvenient, decent clones are Texmaster and NullPomino. They can play by TGM1 and TGM3 rules as well
TGM1 is a bit more crude and doesn't have as many mechanics, but still fine. TGM3 ups the ante by giving you more piece previews and a a touch more flexibility in piece mobility, but really pushes you to use it.

Not really mastering per se, but it's a fun romp that has a very good replayability (especially compared to today's standards).
Try Sengoku Rance, even with the porn i'm still quite surprised at how good the gameplay actually is. If you haven't played, i recommend going in blind just so you could learn more about wtf is fucking happening in this fucking h-game like holy shit and so that you can feel the time when that you'll run up against a wall.
Wish i could play it more and conquer the harder difficulties, but RL problems comes first for me

Try competitive Pokémon, OP. Learning about IVs, EVs, breeding, and building a good team takes quite a while to master. Most people also complain that the games are too easy. Only to get their asses handed to them in the game's Real challenges, like the Battle Frontier and other similar Battle institutions.

This, even after you unlock all the 2nd game bonuses and get enough score to use all the good ones on a 5-star difficulty, it's still a challenge to optimize everything because of how strapped you are on cash and commanders during earlygame, even with Asset Tech. Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri is a colossal timewaster of an in-depth singleplayer game. Adding in kyrub's AI enhancement patch will give you a good kick in the nuts after you've gone complacent and figured out how to cheese.

Alot of qt waifus are in there, but only some women get their own CG of them getting the D with some of them getting two or more. Rance is the type of guy that will bang anything, i mean fucking anything as long as it looks qt. It has alot of fetishes shoved in too, and fortunately none of it is fucking disgusting (e.g scat, vore, bestiality, prolapse, etc.) to me atleast. By the way, here's a tip if you want to play the game. Having sex with women will be detrimental to your progress.
Oh and the game can be fucking hilarious at times too, and Rance is just the perfect protagonist for this game to be able to rise above most other H-games. Children of a Dead Earth is a weird choice for a single player mastery game, the campaign is pretty short and mostly just an orbital mechanics knowledge check and everything after that is inventing your own fun with the ship and module designer.
