What ever happened to this franchise? I only played the first 2 but they were both really fun and had a good sense of humor to them.

THQ Nordic owns the license now, so maybe there's hope for a return or decent remaster

There's not much to say, the later games dropped in quality. A remaster will probably happen eventually.

I played the first, and the second. I only liked the first one personally. As for what happened it ended up on the wii with a series of increasingly bad games, and it's dead.

>crazy fun but had some flaws

>DAH 2

>fixes the flaws and is almost a flawless B movie experience

>THQ has problems

>makes Wii exclusives because the Wii is a shovelware machine

>game has none of the VAs and none of the same charm as a result

>decide to make Path of the Furon

>got the VAs back

>the game has a fair bit of what they intended to do with the storyline connecting to ancient aliens = alien kung fu masters

>the game is very clearly not finished and is prone to breaking

>at least has the venis man trap which you can plant and watch people wander towards as it eats them and gets big enough that it's eating cars and helicopters

This. It would give the dream that the creators of the game wanted. DAH was supposedly going to be bigger in the map along with more invasion sites. Unfortunately it had to be numbed down to optimize to the consoles. So many features were left out. Would be good to see it revived after EA killed the franchise along with Pandemic itself.
