What the subject says. Talk about vidya you're currently playing and whether or not you would recommend it to someone, maybe ask about a game or two you've been interested in. Kindly keep it vidya.
I've recently been playing two games, Hand of Fate 2 and Momentum2x
>Hand of Fate 2
It's an adventure game where you go through a deck of scenario cards, where every card is either a dice challenge, card challenge, pendulum, spin the wheel, combat, dialog, or any combination of the above. You pick some scenario cards(like a shop keeper encounter), a companion, some equipment and supplies(starting equipment) and then you are placed in a challenge(which usually a self contained story with a gimmick) to complete, with extra objectives earning you extra cards, weapons, etc. The combat is pretty much like any arkham game, except it strips it down to its bare minimum(attack, stun, block, dodge, a consumable and your weapons special attack) and later fights you're bound to get hit if you don't prioritize certain enemies or space yourself well in the tiny arenas. Honestly I love the game, mainly because of the way the challenges play out. They're really nice stories with pretty fun gimmicks like some farmer whose being chased by a necromancer who wants his boner, so your companion is replaced by the farmer who constantly gets kidnapped if you fail the skill challenges(basically it's the three shell game with cards) and whom you have to haul ass to get to before they die if they're kidnapped, or my personal favorite Strength, where you stole one half of a cursed charm from an ogre who then fucks you up, but the cursed charm does not allow you to heal from food(the main source of healing, and damage in the game) and so you're spending this challenge building up defense and desperately holding onto 10 health points and hoping for any healing to come by, while simultaneously hoping your food doesn't run out(because running out of food deals 10 damage per new turn and it's basically a death sentence unless you have a specific armor). My only complaints are the music is basically none existent, outside of the card dealing music(which lasts 15~ish seconds) and the camp music none of the music even compared to the first game which is a giant shame because it's the ex Total War composed(Van Dyck). In fact, I don't think I've noticed any of the battle tracks when I pretty much have 70% of the tracks of the first game in my playlist, and the fact that just about every woman in the game is basically a man's model or they have that garbage sideshave haircut. Definitely recommended if you can stomach Arkham combat.
>Momentum2x
is a score attack game, half side scroller, half kind of shump, it's a fun perfectionist haven where you simultaneously have to go fast, not get hit, collect all times and kill all enemies. I really dig it but it gives massive headaches on extended playthroughs. Also recommended.
I'm looking for a hack n slash game set int he crusades. So far I've found three and I'm curious if anyone here played any of them. They are
>The First Templar
>The Cursed Crusade
>Knights of the Temple
Are any of them any good?
