I don't know the file structure of Enderal, but it should theoretically work. Just make sure not to let Steam verify integrity of the game by disabling updates for TES5, otherwise it will download vanilla file into the Enderal folder if that's the one you have to have named "Skyrim".

I'm really looking forward to DFUnity and it's in the home stretch for feature completion. Despite this board's incessant tendency to shit on it because some faggot posted a video with all the gay GFX turned on and it looked like Minecraft, it plays really fucking smoothly, has absolutely necessary QOL improvements like using mouse scrollwheel in menus. They also were the only dev team serious enough to develop their own tooling and the mod packaging is really good. I would not be surprised if it becomes a hot scene for missing when it leaves pre alpha.

It takes real talent to create a leveling system that makes vanilla skyrim seem good. I mean why build the system entirely around needing a billion fucking skill books instead of npc trainers like morrowind? Why fall into the "killing monsters make you better at crafting skills" cliche? Who thinks "I'm a master blacksmith, because even though I never picked up a hammer in my life, I read a hundred books about it" is any better than "I can craft daedric armor now because I made a thousand iron daggers"?

What I liked about the system is it made having money really important, which encouraged you to loot, and it prevented you from getting too good too fast. But I agree trainers would have made a lot more sense than books.

Just letting everyone know that my idea worked. I ended up creating two batch files to swap out the game does. Enderal actually loads, but crashed on new game.

I could run the launcher, so I just unzipped the game files into the skyrim folder which I am sure is the problem. I think the launcher keeps crashing because I am not using steam since my skyrim is pirated.

I really want to play, but will just co tinue playing skyrim if that is what I have to do.
