If you already have the base game (e.g. CD) you should be fine to just use that if it's patched up and has the expansions. The (((Origin))) version may or may not work but that's what you get for being retarded.
Installation
1. Unzip the base game anywhere you want.
2. Unzip the mod into the Battlefield 1941\Mods\ folder
3. If the game won't launch set the game's .exe to compatibility mode for Windows 98/ME and to run as admin.
How to join
Look for us in the server browser, the game should start the mod up automatically when you try and join. If you can't see us use direct connect (Multiplay > Internet > Add Server).

I'm using the client download from radcorp.neet with the forgotten hope download from moddb. A lot of other FH servers show up, singleplayer runs fine, the mod works. I'm on Win7 64 with no compatibility mode (using a compatibility profile which seems to have fixed the crashing in singleplayer)

I removed my key through the key manager GUI so it should be gone.
I then reinstalled the game from radcorp.neet + the mod from radcorp.neet then launched in Win98 compatibility mode+admin, which worked perfectly fine, I found the server and joined it without editing my key. I then applied my compatibility profile and launched in no compatibility+no admin, which also worked fine. It seems like the trouble lies with the ModDB package, probably since it's a fully scripted installer whereas the radcorp.neet download is just a normal drag-n-drop.

Press c or F9 in tanks for the gunsight. You're right about infantry AT being fucking terrible though. All Battlefield modders have PTSD from vanilla where infantry AT rapes other infantry so they nerf the aiming time, damage and explosion radius heavily to compensate which ruins it for actual AT work. The solution is just not to play tank maps.

Connected after initial problems. I only stayed for a few maps, but it was fun, so thanks. I tried piloting only in singleplayer mode. The biggest advantage of flying a plane, which is long view distance, is lost because of the game engine, combined with small airspace to fly in. Hoping for a comfy flight game, if such exists.
