Anyhow, I hope it won't get the Level 5 curse of being too good to be canned completely but not profitable enough to warrant a sequel so they'll be making another twenty yo-kai watch games instead. Level 5 also has a habit of being rather hit or miss if memory serves. Also, if you're going to whine about Dark Cloud deserving better, SCEJ may well be to blame, as they own the rights, not the developers. Even if Level 5 would have wanted a third, it would have been entirely on Sony allowing it to happen.

Besides, they don't have any power over indie games, and nothing about the switch indicates it's going to hold weeb games back in any way. Unless they're dumbly made around multiplayer, but I can only think of Peach Beach Splash doing that mistake. Otherwise, the switch has already proven at length that indie games are very successful on it.

NoE isn't anywhere on the level of cuck as NoA/Treehouse. NoA hasn't gotten a game worth playing for a while since BotW. We haven't seen what they have done since they've butchered the translation for BotW. Also saying they hired a hentai artists means nothing when a ton of official artists for games draw porn. It's a very common thing.

I could say the same for Tomomi Sasaki. He can draw some nice characters, both guys and girls, and has done so as official art for vidya in the past (as well as other stuff that I assume he did as either commission or fan art for), but his preference seems to be decades of explicitly gay shit, especially - and repeatedly - so as Skies of Arcadia doujins.

Vita's also hackable and has had a number of undubs and fan translations. I think (I could be wrong) that the PS4 has seen some effort in hacking, but it's probably going to be a while before there's much of an effort for game patches. Would hope Ys VIII and other localization travesties wind up high on the list though.

I seem to recall someone at NoA or Treehouse, not in specific to that, saying they don't know Japanese but will pretend like they do. Seems like an easy yet important line to correct after people have pointed it out, but I highly doubt they consider it worth patching/redubbing over, given how many companies just let shit stay as is because they already got their money (credit to TK for forcing Acttil to retranslate the NPC dialogue in the likes of AnS PS3 though). And then you have companies like NISA where if forced will still not do anything much better than before, as if out of spite. Granted, I don't have a WiiU or Switch, so if Nintendo did fix that line, I don't know.
