If you're a casual, sure. You get a lot more red orbs if you mark a demon with it and beat the shit out of it without getting hit yourself, rewarding good players. If anything the team, despite putting in options to pay for red orbs gives you a tool to farm red orbs.

I'll only give you points for the new Nero arm thing and even that is still scraping off the old stuff. It's still borrowing Quicksilver and Pandora's third level shot (akin to the Tomboy blast).
Compare the difference between DMC1/2 and DMC3 to the difference between DMC4 and DMC5. DMC3 brought so many fucking new things to the table it can almost be regarded as an entirely different genre from DMC1. DMC4 brought up a whole new gameplay style with so many options through the Devil Bringer. Which doesn't receive enough praise because everyone here always gets distracted about Nero's lack of weaponry. If this is Dante's last installment I would like to experiment with other things more. If I wanted Cerberus, Sparda or not-Beowulf I would go just pop up the PS2 emulator and play DMC3 again.

Have you ever considered not touching the game to show capcom that you demand better from them than this? There were enough red flags already with the "photo-realistic" look of the characters, the horrible soundtrack, and DLC practices being used. The company infamous for finding ways to nickel and dime their customers and fans with each "new" installment and has recently been censoring their games and making their characters ugly on purpose. I worded my post poorly, but I'm worried the base PS4 won't be able to handle the game at a consistent 60fps. Especially since Capcom is going hard on GRAPHICS and photorealism. I'm not happy about buying the game and supporting Sony/Steam/Denuvo, but I want to support Itsuno and his team so that outweighs the other cancer. What do you mean Potentially? Nier Automata's game play was serviceable, but it was the rest of the game that made it good. Transfomers Devastation's game play is better, Bayonetta is better then Transfomers, And you could argue that Bayonetta is as good as Devil May Cry but I still think DMC is better.
