I just discovered that there was a Monika Bob-omb in Paper Mario TTYD. His lottery depends on the GameCube's internal clock to function correctly. He also threatens to delet the entire game if you mess with that clock. The whole thing honestly felt kinda cheesy.

Looking back on it, it made me think if any game has ever broke the 4th wall well.

Unrelated, but there were so many overplayed, unfunny textwalls like this in TTYD where they just repeated the same bullshit again and again and you had to skip it. Between that and the backtracking, and the mindnumbing wrestling chapter, why the fuck does anyone like that game again?

The entire chapter having an interesting twist on instead of fighting your way from point A to B, you climb the ladder to become the champion? The entire mysterious plot and legends that the wrestlers handed down over the years?
