Let's be honest here, you're disheartened, that's understandable. We've come off like 5 years where there was NOTHING good being published from either big devs or indies.
But if you don't actively seek out good shit or something to change your mind then there's absolutely no fucking way you'll ever enjoy games again. These titles are made by no budget teams that won't be able to hire out youtube ads or even go big conventions, you can't find them like you used to back in the mid 2000s. There's new talent around and it's going to take some time for adjustement before the studios that closed down during the recession can be replaced by others of the same size and with the same budget.
Look at it this way, you've got the chance to support people whose games you actually like and make a whole new group of good small studios. That enough should make you believe in the industry again.
OR you could just give up and believe that nobody in the world can make games anymore and that all the talent somehow disappeared all of a sudden and that somehow nobody in the future will ever exist that will be able to think up good games.

There has been no point in the last 2000 years of our history that such debauchery that we see in the world before us is not only considered normal and commonplace, but has continued to get ramped up with seemingly no end in sight except complete extermination. It is considered normal to maliciously spread sexual diseases, but abnormal to have a family that is functioning. It is normal to live with your parents until your 30s, it is almost normal to fornicate with animals, to shit on the racial and cultural bonds of your countrymen and welcome foreigners who hate you and everything your people have ever stood for into your homes, and completely abnormal to even suggest otherwise, to the point where to spout such ideas can even result in your imprisonment.
I could go on, but I'm sure this illustrates enough. History has seen the fall of nations and civilizations. There have been periods where for decades, the same people have suffered in squalor that they could do nothing to prevent nor rise from. But we're seeing the annihilation of an entire race, not the fall of A civilization but civilization itself, and I do not think that there would be any hope of recovery if it gets even worse.
I think it's the risk of what there is to lose, and the complete lack of salvation if things are lost, that makes the modern day one of the worst times in our entire history. It's not just one nation's future at stake, but every nation's future, and there is no comfort to be found outside of delusion.

Films so bad and cookie cutter you can't tell what studio made them. One action film blends into another. One comedy film blends into another.
They don't care if they lose money, they have a deep warchest to keep hammering in that this is the new normal. Hell, horror audiences are conditioned for jump scares or over-the-top gore instead of genuine suspense now.
But, the warchest is not infinite, and they're having to spend more and more out of panic since more and more people are calling them on their bullshit.
Games have been around a lot shorter, and so we've been able to document the change a lot easier.
Keep bitching publicly. Keep writing emails in disgust or praise. Keep recommending and warning others. Keep mocking. Because when we all retreated to message boards- that's when (((they))) took up 100% of the feedback.
