I've been thinking about Literally Who's tweet the other day, her own little celebration of 4 years and counting. She says "our nerdy hobbies" or something to that effect laying claim to all of "nerdom" for Social Justice. My knee jerk reaction is to laugh and dismiss it. But I think she's right, on multiple levels.
First, "nerdom" wasn't a thing until fucking hipsters that hate nerds came along and declared it. "Geek Chic" was made popular by them. Second, they run these industries. The hipsters that HATE these industries and the hobbyist that enjoy them are the very ones making all of the content. In a very real sense, it is "their" nerdy hobbies. They own it. Are the fans and hobbyist that enjoy said content SJWs? By and far no. But that doesn't change the fact that hipster SJWs run shit.
4 years GG has been ongoing. 4 years ago people like Milo Yiannopoulos gave timescales, saying 2-5 years tops and social justice would be broken. I've kept adjusting my own timescale, but I think it's longer than most people realise. This isn't 2-5 years. This shit is generational. It's gonna take a whole generation for this shit to go away. The fuckers that are in positions of power today have to age out and be replaced by these right leaning younger generations. So I guess what I'm saying is…see you all for GG's 20th anniversary.

But their failure has a driving force, and I'm doing a writeup on it now. That driving force is something I need to name. Let me explain a bit:
In the mathematical models for the social theory of "tyranny of minority" the driving force (lets call it the Tyrant) is accommodated by the suppliers of goods and services (Industry) *and* tolerated by everyone else (Majority.) Here is how it works. Imagine a square field filled with a grid, and each box in the grid represents one person. The classic example is Kosher food, but it works with almost anything.
>Kosher people (in this case our Tyrant) will not eat non-Kosher food.
>Non-Kosher people (the Majority) will eat Kosher food.
So the Industry that provides food, which is always driven to reduce costs (having separate menus for different people and making sure foods don't get mixed costs money) will look at this situation, and be influenced to provide only Kosher food.
Here's a story example. You have one member of a four person family who is Kosher. If they REFUSE to eat non-Kosher food, then when it comes time for the family to prepare meals it is easier for the family to just make only Kosher food. Because everyone can eat it. So from this one person, the whole family winds up with a Kosher menu.
This family is known to meet with other families every week for cookouts. Because the other families learn that this family only eats Kosher food, gradually they will serve only Kosher food at their cookouts, because its easier and cheaper than accommodating different groups, and nobody wants to exclude the Kosher family.
The local grocery store notices that all these families are only buying Kosher food, and sees that it would be cheaper to stock only Kosher food since they would only have to order one type of food. So soon the grocery is only stocking Kosher food. You see where this is going.
There is a mitigating factor, however. If Kosher food is more difficult to stock for some reason, or some other penalty is applied for carrying only it, and this penalty outweighs the costs savings then the family, and the cookouts, and the grocery, will continue to stock both kinds of food, so as to keep reaching the largest market possible.
That mitigating factor is the key to undoing SJW power. To break it down, since SJWs will NOT play tiddie games, but fucking normalfags WILL play non-tiddie games, the industry is under pressure to supply only non-tiddie games. Because its simpler, the normalfags don't complain about it, and then they don't have the SJWs tearing at their door in protest over showing some thigh. They key to stopping this process is to make sure that the penalty for pushing and making only non-tiddie games is greater than the money and effort saved by making those games. This penalty can be financial, through lost sales, or it can be social through pressure on developers. Whatever form it takes, the penalty MUST be greater than the gains, or else the cycle keeps going until everyone in DOA is wearing a Burka. It literally feeds off itself if there's no pressure to stop it.
For a fun exorcise, take this same principle and apply it to anything where a minority seems to be pushing a majority around. Islam in Europe? Immigrants in the US? SJWs in literally any community?
When I mapped this shit out using CT math and built a 3D graph using off the cuff data about the games industry, it worked out to about 7 years mean time to failure. Both ways. Seven years from inception to backlash, and 7 years from backlash to collapse assuming the "penalty factor" is 1. If the penalty goes away, it just goes on forever until, I presume, market forces physically rend the industry apart or some kind of unexpected revolution happens.

The big difference in 2008 and 2017 is the nintendo lineup with the Wii and DS being ~half of console sales in 2008 while the switch and 3DS under-performing comparatively.
