Okay the gist of it goes like so- Titanfall 1 got a huge advertising budget, I'm sure you'll remmeber. So when they come around for Titanfall2 EA dumps a nice big budget for it's development citing the previous budget for therir expectations, however, they spend next to nothing on advertising for Titanfall2, hey make next to zero effort for people to take notice of it which means basically that no normalfags buy it because sheep only pick up what they see advertised. The next step is, as publisher, is that they determine the window for it's release, deliberately slotting it in a period where they have heavy competition is a surefire way to lower the sales when combined with the normalfags' overall lack of attention being drawn by the advertising of other games in the same release window. Subsequently, as a direct result of these acts of publisher meddling, it ensured that the sales numbers were far below what the projections that determined the budgets suggested which in turn left Respawn in quite a bit of debt leading to their needing to be bought out.
And who bought them out? Who was just sitting there ready to lend a hand and acquire all their assets? Why none other than our beloved EA, the publisher who left them in dire straits in the first place.
Money makes the world go round, doesn't matter how good your game is, if it doesn't make it's money back.

Far as I understand it, Bethesda are just the publisher for NuWolf and NuDoom, NuDoom and Doom Eternal are made by id Software and NuWolf, its sequel/expansions are all made by Machine Games. Bethesda Softworks are just the publishers behind these games, the moneymen and marketers, and are separate to Bethesda Game Studios, who make all of Bethesda Softworks in house stuff, so Fallout and Elder Scrolls. So Bethesda are fronting the money and publishing for the NuOldSchoolShooters, but the actual dev houses themselves are separated literally by oceans and are only related in so far as they share a publisher, and that publisher is literally just the publishing arm of Bethesda, their games studio has nothing to do with NuWolf/NuDoom developer as far as I'm aware.

Its not brainwash but more or less overriding their Robotic functions to make them do what he wants by waking them up. He was able to disable his own functions and ascend beyond being told what to do because of his A.I functionality which is later explained by the creator that one day the A.I functionality will become sentient and that it will become a problem for society.

The whole point is that we see robots much like we do our computers or are smart phones. We may at first consider them nice to haves, but eventually we just do not care about what we own and see them nothing more as objects. You often see this in MIT videos of how they knock robots over and how some humans might see them as nothing more than that a robot. But there is also the A.I function to it as well that could react in a certain way.

When you have a lot of choices you do have to expect that not every detail will be perfect. They had to run in 30k animations and the script was two times that of Heavy Rain on it's own due to the fact it decided to branch out more and have good/bad ends along with different interactions depending on how you move through the route. Not everything can be accounted for. This is why i cant really get mad at some details missing or some things overlooked. Visual Novels even have this issue as well with not accounting for some aspects or scenes, but not many get mad about it because the effort is there.

False. EA has at least some control. There was a dustup over this when Origin first opened, and a whole lot of EA titles magically disappeared from Steam seemingly overnight. I don't remember the exact details, but as I recall, EA said that it was Valve's decision to pull the titles, and when Valve was pressed, they said that they had no choice but to pull the titles after EA made some change to the games that violated preexisting Steam policies (I want to say it involved DLC availability on the Steam storefront, I think…?). The takeaway from the whole deal was that large companies like to hide behind "this is out of our control" whenever they could potentially be pressed into making an undesired decision, and they have multiple levers that make "this is out of our control" plausible depending on what lawyer-lens you use to parse their argument.

Welcome to David Cage games. They look nice… and that's it. Detroit is better written then Beyond Two Souls and Indigo Prophecy but it still has plenty of nonsense. Kara's story in retrospect is the biggest offender and Hank is only good if you're nice to to him, going full Machine Connor really brings to light how poorly written Hank can be at times.
The Landfill is very cool but also nonsense. Why is there practically no security? Where are the workers or guards? Why are they allowed to roam? That's a huge risk especially with deviancy rampant. Why didn't they harvest those parts and recycle them?
