I think playing something in order to test whether a game is shit is a perfectly valid activity, that is how one can truly decide if a game is worth playing. I played through Celeste, and found out that while the gameplay is OK at most, the virtue signalling, speedrunning-oriented world-building and awful dialogue is what heavily drags down a game. I'd look at a game to try to gauge whether a game is shit, and play it (pirated of course) in order to confirm it's quality.

Playing since the release BR on PC. The gunplay is still awful and the building system is really there to abuse. Shotgun can finish you in one or two-shot in close or mid range. SMG, MG and Rifles are complete useless in everything. Melee and ramming with cars is does 10 dmg only.

To be fair, the original plan was for you to retire at 60 and die in five~ten years. Now people are regularly living well into their 70's and 80's, with a growing amount getting into their 90's and 100's. And lifespans are only going to extend from here. getting high and playing video games actually doesn't make you worse at them tbh. you could even get better because it's easier to get more into the game you're playing and your reaction times don't actually decrease. in fact, i've had the opposite thing happen to me when i tried it. it mostly depends on your own reaction, weed just amplifies it. if you just want to relax and not care about video games, you'll do just that and if you want to relax and really get into a video game then you'll do that. getting drunk and playing competitive video games is the worst thing you could do though. i tried it once or twice and it's never a fulfilling experience. you just can't do as good.

I thought the building mechanic was neat until I played it and realized everyone just builds meta staircase towers with bowls on top and rains hell from above. I guess I just wish the building haf a slight cooldown or the buildings didn't start at max health.
I like the idea of fortifying an area but I think there should be some risk involved instead of just shitting out a giant eyesore in five seconds that takes forever to destroy.

It does though. Reaction time doesn't lower significantly with Marijuana use unless you're blasting yourself into orbit, but at best there is no effect on reaction times - and at worst it's a measurable and consistent decrease. Alcohol has the most detrimental effect on reaction times and fine motor control, obviously.
If you want a drug that will actually make you better at video games, then Caffeine or Crystal Meth is the way to go. Caffeine actively stimulates your nervous system and makes you more focused and clear headed, allowing you identify and prioritize goals/targets faster while also providing you a slight boost to reaction speed and accuracy. Crystal Meth is basically super-caffeine, with much improved focus, accuracy, and reaction time - as well as improved memory function. The big problem with Meth (in relation to gaming anyhow) is that Meth as a drug encourages users to continue dosing until they run out - and the window of beneficial effects only lasts until fatigue starts in. The benefits of the buff you receive will peak long before you stop using. Amplified focus and reaction time will tire the user out, but prevent them from resting properly, leading to tunnel vision and mild fatigue related psychosis, aggressive/risky behavior, and significantly reduces performance to similar levels seen in alcohol use after extended usage.
At any rate, if you want to be better at games, take stimulants (in moderation). If you want to shitcan your performance but still feel like you're the best at the game, use alcohol or marijuana.
There's a reason why people used to chug Bawls at Quake Lan parties. Also, if you want a fun time - try Mescaline and Crazy Taxi.
