He made the physics calculations only happen every other frame so it would run at the correct speed, then he interpolates (not "interlaces") the position of everything in the game world. It's also worth noting that famn near every 3d game barring Quake 1 uses interpolation between keyframes for character animation. Even if you somehow argue it's not " true" 60fps, is it not still superior to the pathetic 30fps cap being pushed in all these PC rereleases of classic games recently?

While the difference between a high quality MP3 and WAV is negligible to most ears, Shenmue's voice audio on the Dreamcast was very obviously compressed, if the scratchiness didn't give it away. If they managed to find the original 20 year old master audio for the voices, I'd be impressed.

If not, then there's even less of a reason to get this port/remaster/whatever.
