I think Squeenix might be halfway redeemable. They've fucked up numerous times like with Denuvo, obnoxious DLC practices, occasional bad ports, lack of support for games and the Final Fantasy series, but they've also put out or published games that have been worthwhile like Tomato, Bravely Default, Dragon Quest stuff and Sleeping Dogs and at least saying that Octopath Traveler will release as a full game on release, no DLC bullshit (we'll see if that ends up being true). Plus the Square Enix Collective helps out indie devs who have potential and the games that are to be coming out of it look pretty promising. I like seeing those hapless fuckers get some hope.
Anyways I went through this thing and there *is* a lot of questions about shit like physical releases, DLC and they flat out ask you what games you'd want Square Enix to make, what do you think of Square Enix, what feedback do you have, etc.
I personally gave answers like

Companies kinda sorta pay attention to those if the aggregates are large enough. I remember doing one for Konami years ago where the main point was whether or not they should try to release games on PC (MGR atm, they even mentioned MGR parody video made by RocketJump), I did another one for SEGA too where they were asking what kind of new games you'd like to see from them and what franchises to bring to PC, I said Bayo, Vanquish and Yakuza, I also did one for Bamco back in the day and it was mostly focused on their fighting games and again whether or not to bring them to PC.
And well it has taken them fucking forever but now most 3rd parties release their games on PC, even japs.

I got the game on sale thinking, heh even though it'll probably suck it should at least be a bit entertaining right? I mean, there'll be lots of monsters and dungeons and shit what could go wrong?
I was incredibly wrong, even the baseline things I wanted from a FF game were removed.

>the combat has no strategy, you can just warp strike for 9999 damage at low level to 1-shot bosses, you can basically just close your eyes and beat anything
