Very good. I have finally done everything to keep up with chemical reactors, got a 8.9 and a 10 for two midterms. On the other had, a group project we failed got checked again, and it turned out that I was the only one with decent enough work to receive a sufficient, meaning I completed the course as the only on of our group. Organizing my office. Not sure how I should organize my CRT TV, laser printer, and three or four old computers on an L-shaped table arrangement. I want to keep the TV on the end towards the center of the room, so I can rotate it as necessary, but that leaves little room next to it for using a computer, and the corner is useless for anything that needs to be touched, but the printer seems to be in the way, there. Well, i guess to each his own. If that is your preferred method and solution then go for it, though i'm going to say that for me personally, those feelings aren't tied to loneliness or social contact. Though i do see your point as a lot of people fall into thinking "going numb" will fix such issues and cease them. Refusing emotion isn't the right way in my personal opinion. You are just as human as any other, so just accept your loneliness until it subsides. "yes, i feel/am lonely, but it will pass, like it did many times before".
I can feel very emotional about music, stories and videogames, for example, as cheesy i realize these sound, vid related's bittersweet and melancholic melody always makes me feel such emotions, while for example dragonforce always, without fail fills me with such energy.
A look onto the sun shooting it's god rays over the top of clouds always amazes me, same with the pure white rim it produces around the edges, just beautiful.
Looking at art makes me feel that special "something" that i can't put my hands on especially since i dabbled in drawing.
Right now, even as bad as i have it i still feel right. I am NOT alone or unique in this thought process, i very well know.
All in all, it's more about coming to terms with your emotions than supressing them, which in my personal opinion isn't tied to any specific emotion (like loneliness), and thus i don't see a strong need for such path you chose.
And to clarify "not feeling" i meant in the context that you won't feel lonely as other feelings will overtake such feelings, not that you won't feel at all.

I personally would recommend playing through the vivendi timeline first (fear one, and its two expansions) before moving on to fear 2 then 3. I have been playing for about 14 years now, if you count a 2-3 year hiatus from a year ago. Had lessons from age 6-15, but I stopped because I had trouble finding motivation. Now that the motivation has returned by playing songs from my favorite video games, I play sometimes when I have time and it is really satisfying to play when I want. Motivation is key; don't force yourself in playing, it'll only get more annoying with the second. If you take it seriously and play everyday, you should have no problem learning any song really, but theoretical knowledge is critical to playing.

I will admit I exaggerated in my previous post. It's hard for me to feel for most music, but when I feel the right few songs, usually songs that have that right musical range and complexity in rhythm, melody, etc., it's makes me feel energetic, though not as energetic as it used to. (It used to make me feel like I had to take a run around the block, that kind of stuff).

Might be a bit of a rant, but here it is anyway.
Well, i sadly can't offer surefire advice, since it changes person to person, but i can say that for me, it "began" or more accurately it was the point at which it became something conscious with a sudden feeling of "everything's alright" washing over me one time when i was going home by bus from my workplace while listening to music. The music synched up with a it leaving the shadows of a tall building and the sun shooting rays out from a hole in the clouds as it slowly descended to be visible. As much as i'm not religious, it was like a nod from life itself.
Though i guess that also ties into a lot of other beliefs i hold in life.
Anyway for something you could ACTUALLY do, why not try this. It may work a little bit, or it may be just a very slightly entertraining few minutes of your life.
Launch vid attached (i know hurdy gurdy and all) then close your eyes and cover it with one of your hands.Try letting everything else go and listen to the music "seriously". focusing on it is also good, though i realize it may be difficult to some. As it goes on, try to imagine a still shot of landscape you would associate with the music. Don't get lost in the details yet, imagine a vague lanscape first, and try to think yourself and the image you see as a camera in a movie. Slowly add natural movement to this image. Now switch your camera to a different position. Nearby, or far away, it doesn't matter. Try to find shots and images you would find in a movie. Over a building, near the ground. Now imagine local some local flora and fauna. Imagine an insect running along the ground as your camera follows it in movement and focus. Imagine a human in the enviroment, the imagine what he might experience in that enviroment sensorywise. Sight, Smell,Taste,Touch, and Hearingwise.
Now try to consider some deeper connotations of this man being in this enviroment.
After that try to imagine how you yourself would feel, and recall similiar experienced feelings and try to link them.
Get anything? well if you are finished, i might as well tell what i imagine (though if you read this beforehand yours might change)
I see a desert. Pyramids and ruins of an era gone by consumed by the shifting sand dunes, with tall mountains far back, dancing along to the rising heat warping the air. I switch to the barely visible top of a ruin that sank into the sand, looking towards the searing sun as winds blow sand over the spines of the sand dunes. I switch again, this time close and zoomed in towards the sandy ground as a black scorpio skitters between the wind blown lines of sand, stopping occasionally for a few seconds, then switch to a close up shot of a cactus as the sun descends quickly into night and rises to another day just as fast. I then see a man, who sees this ocean of sand just as i do. The smell of sun and sweat on his clothes, hearing the blowing wind. I relate to the man and recall how i felt in intense heat. Nausea, a clear want of water in the heat of summer. A need to cool down or risk collapsing. A desperation growing about my water supply, and a fearful appriciation and fear for the cold the night brings with itself.
To me this music feels like the desert itself.I can almost feel my feet sink into the hot sand. I can feel myself rising out from it as it rolls off of me. I can feel it crunching beneath my teeth and get into my eyes. I can feel the desert.
This applies to a lot of things in general. Whenever i look at the moon, i imagine and feel it's gigantic size by thinking about "being" on/between the moon/earth (kind of like space engine). Just the Sheer size is awe inspiring. Same with the sun. Just enormous. It feels like it'll gobble me up without even realizing it, and i amount to nothing when conpared. Not even a speck of dust, and it amazes and intrigues me so much.

Instead of "suffering" through it, loneliness for me it's more like rain, or a storm. It's up to me if i want to get wetter than i currently am. There are shelters of other things in life that i can wait under to let it pass. Picking up or continuing a hobby, reading or drawing doodles and such. As long as i feel occupied it will pass and things return to their usual self. If i don't have motivation to do anything, then i just laze around until i feel the need to do something.
I personally find music interesting.
It can resonate with someone very deeply yet be ignored by someone else. Musical taste also changes, more frequently than any other taste i could wager. If there is only a few songa resonating with you deeply, then what you could do is quantify the attributes that makes you like that music. One thing i found out is that if i like something very much, i'll try to pinpoint the exact things i like about it, which in turn makes me more aware towards it and like it even more.
As for true beauty, i do not think it exists. For the most part it's value you consciously and subconsciously assign to it that makes it beautiful. When you look at a tree, just try and imagine the number of trees in your own country, or better, the whole world. They outnumber both you and the tree, but from all the possible tree's you could have seen, it turned out to be that one. It might not be fate, or god intended "meeting", but the chance of you being born in your country, and leading a life that lead to you looking at a specific tree out of all the possible things that could have happened in your life is just so tremendous. This chance "meeting" if you will, may seem utterly insignificant, but the events that lead down to it, their exact specific path in a "life of choices", makes me think it's more than enough to admire a tree.
Meaning is something intrinsically assigned, not given. I can assign a meaning to a painting that i theoretically paint, and it may be even the widely accepted meaning behind the painting, but ultimately, it is up to people seeing that painting. Even if i give the specific exact meaning behind it, nobody will truly see it the same way i did, and that's completely fine. Next time you see art, try to give it meaning yourself, no matter how silly or non relevant it may seem.
I've no opinion on romantical love, good or bad, but i do understand that people seek it.

Disgaea 2 Dark Hero Days
I'm having fun grinding things out, really getting a good feel for the item world and Subpoena system, especially since making it to the Dark Court to accept your Felony grants you at least 50k HL each time, nevermind the leveling I can do with my weaker characters along the way, or the Item World pirates I can obliterate for a piece of a treasure map. I also love that I can stack 9 of my 10 characters up into a tower and toss them into the Dark Court portal, enabling them ALL to get the stat boost from the Subpoena. This is all pretty gratifying. I was afraid at first that the stat boosts from the reincarnations and subpoenas would be minimal/non-effective hardly, but when you stack a subpoena and then reincarnate a character a time or two it adds up quite substantially, I love it.
When I first looked at these other NIS titles (like Phantom Brave, Soul Nomad, and Makai Kingdom) I'd assumed them to be just the same as Disgaea: grid-based SRPGs with barely-different functions to Disgaea. Having actually done some reading up on these has me pretty damn interested in them now. Zettai Hero Project looks like an absolute fucking blast too. I've been intending to play the Prinny spin-off games as well already, in addition to GrimGrimoire, La Pucelle, and a few others. I'm even considering Disgaea Infinite. I think I'm at the start of a deep rabbit hole here lads, and there's no end in sight.
Devil May Cry
Finished Mission 3, I thought I was really getting into the swing of things after beating Phantom which admittedly took me a number of tries but Mission 4 has been kicking my ass. I keep dying at Dark Knight. The first phase is easy enough since you can interrupt most of his attacks, but the second phase is pretty punishing. Before starting this, I wasn't expecting to walk in and kick DMC's ass by any means, but I didn't think I'd have so much trouble this early on. Having to hold down R1 to use certain moves feels uncomfortable to perform as well. Maybe it's just my PS2 controller though or perhaps I just haven't grown accustomed.

I do understand why you would come to that conclusion, but let me qualify.
As much as the word's meaning, a lot of people don't seem to weight it enough (i love this food/music/game/etc). Very rarely does love of an object, idea, or else compare to actual, true love between individuals, as that kind of love goes both ways, which is why i felt the need to seperate it from the previous interpretation.
As for "no bad or good opinion", i've yet to experience true love, and because i already feel comfortable and very content in life where i am, i'm not leaning towards going and seeking it out, simply put.

A security system, tripped on accident. This instance it was a security guy reloading it. Some cord from the ATM Cash dispenser that was sticking out at an odd angle bumped and pinched a cord that's part of the security system. Thankfully it's the type of ink explosion that just drips a bit of ink out cassettes not in the safe so cleanup isn't so bad.
FUN FACT: between me and everyone I work with we've seen only one instance of inkjet system going off in the face of a criminal, and about a dozen instances of them going off in front of techs and security people.

Different priorities, different imaginations. I have a personal distaste for armchair psychology, but interesting none the less.
Another part of this is to apply it in life. Think yourself as a camera, and everything else as the images that are meant to be recorded.
Just with paintings, drawings, music, food or anything else, someone needs to perceieve and feel it. There could exist a perfect painting, or song, that makes even the most hateful person jump up in joy, but unless it is heard or otherwise perceived it is meaningless.
When you think about finding beauty in nature, don't just think about it as something you aren't a part of. It isn't just the clouds or trees that exist. You yourself exist just the same as any mountain, tree, cloud or anything else.
Most people do not factor in the receiver, only the sender. Don't factor in the viewer, only the things being viewed. Without you and your perception, it would not exist in your world, just like how thousands upon hundred thousands and millions of people don't exist individually, and are ultimately just a faceless mob. You are just as a key component in that moment as the thing you are perceiving. Without you and your attention, that moment wouldn't really be that moment anymore.
Sure, maybe others did it instead of you, but they are others, not you. Others exist seperate from you, and just as how you won't truly see through their eyes, they won't see through yours, meaning the obvious, that the same thing could either be truly emotional or utterly disinteresting.
As for space exploration, it would be very interesting to see things with your own eyes from the moon or mars.
But while i share your desire, i think it would take tremendous effort to really propel humanity in that direction, and commit them to it.
Though i'll probably be dead at that point, it would be interesting to see if humanity as a whole managed to push through the event or fail and doom itself.
Still, it would be great if it's plausible to do so.

I'm somewhat familiar with that interpretation, but I still want to dig deeper into it at some point. I feel there's a lot in the past that could always be reiterated in a modern time. For the tulpa phenomenon specifically, I think it could be a great benefit to understand its origin. Although, the modern interpretation seems like it has already helped out quite a few people.
