One of the most exicing RTS to come out in recent years, and it's done by a bunch of poor poles, I'm so goddamn impressed.
Fully voice acted campaigns, decent graphics, next to no bugs.
Makes me want to TRY and make a game sometimes.

Campaigns are 5 missions a pop and can be completed in 10-20 minutes top. Units feel, look and play the same, and that's both between factions and between different units - spearmen will do just about everything swordsmen will do. In short it's like someone gave Dawn of War 2 multiplayer mode a medieval makeover and made some dlc singleplayer "campaigns" as an afterthought.

Voice-acting is somewhat okay, but the accents all over the place when you play the campaigns, and base/village-building is mostly premade, kinda had some fun with the village system. Day-Night System and the Lightning and the Stealth was cool

Bullshit unless you're talking about CoH2. CoH had free base building, resource points were take and hold as opposed to control points you upgrade in a very linear, DoW2 fashion; build 1/3 generator to improve income. Units are also DoW2 tier. T1 infantry, T2 infantry, T1 ranged and maybe two-three specialist. CoH had sidegrades.

You can play as Vikings, Britons, Germans, and Slavs, there's a campaign for each era and for both sides, also future dlc, weapons and armor, and most part names are accurate, but there might be wankery between some of the historical battles in the game, still playing through.

Hell, heroes were tough in Dark Crusade but aside from maybe the Tomb Lord on easy they can't solo entire armies. Armor heavy armies especially.
What strikes me as worse than even DoW2 is that there's no real difference between units, no obvious counters and no variance between already small unit pool. Blob up and cry charge if you can't catch him with archers. Repeat as necessary.

So did you finish all of them? Because seems like you are speaking about the 2nd mission. Anyway, most RTS campaign missions are about kill all enemies anyway.
The archer shit is detrimental in melee due to friendly fire though?

I meant more in the vein of catching them out of position. Also if you're men have defencive and armor 2 and your archers don't have piercing, chances are you'll mow him down without any serious loses.

Nickle and diming dlc, killing mods, forced crappy mechanics that don't work more often then they do - desolate province most notably and general low effort. Atilla for example had only two chainmail textures on launch. That's across all factions. Pretty funny considering 60-75% of the units use chainmail.
The notviking dlc factions had something like 10 textures for five units.

About your TW complaint, man, Attila is one of their better release recently despite all the riff-raff, the final game now has accurate period armor, just that some shield look small.
