The one thing I'd wish they'd bring over from CoE is the world end spells you can start that completely mess up the map, though I don't know how'd they properly implement it. That and the various planes like hell, death, etc

Mekone is boring shit and tough.

The MA nations that spawn from them Phaeacia and Another nations I forget the name of.

Both are pretty cool, one being mutated gigantes and the other being berytos mixed with mekone culture.

Which has some cool looking sacreds, great mages and magic and greek summons.

They also can sail anywhere based on dominions and unlike berytos have sailing scouts.

They're the We Wuz Greeks nation tho

Can anyone with modding experience answer some questions I have? I want to make a custom nation based off the MTG Slivers, if not an outright copy of them. How in depth is the modding process, would it be possible for units to give each other passive buffs by being in the same army / province / battle?

Something like unit X gives a passive +.01 to strength to all units on the battlefield, or having a certain commander in an army would give all units under his command a special ability like fly?

I've only tried Phlegra in SP, but being able to spam 8g slave archers and 8g rec-anywhere axe/javelin slave light infantry for expansion was very fun. I've never seen so many projectiles in the single digit turns. That they don't promote out of slave upkeep once they get enough experience like shit-tier Mekone's do is just gravy.

Shame about the berserking mages, though.
