Most people play until they realize there really isn't anything more to the game than they've already seen. It's why DE has trouble retaining players and has been completely dependent on Destiny's missteps for growth.

But then there are the guys who will happily grind their life away doing the same thing 10,000 times. While in other games they're just there to be mocked, like the guys running thousands of crates in forced solo sessions in GTA "Online", warframe tries to be their home. DE deliberately avoids adding any competitive content so that they feel like they're making progress just by pouring in time, going so far as to remove trials when it poked a hole in that illusion since no good groups wanted to take them on runs.

So, say I want to get these three items. Do you think it'd be better to 1) stay in the missions with the highest chance of dropping them during C rotations, or 2) complete the missions in which they appear in A rotations as many times as possible, assuming that I am interested in getting them as quickly as possible. For reference, the highest chance each relic has to drop is:

>NeoZ1; 18.97% (Elite Onslaught C rotation)

>NeroB4; 16.67% (Interception T2 C rotation, Survival T4, Dark Sector 4, B rotation)

I think that, since the rotation structure never chances (A-A-B-C), wouldn't it be more efficient to stay for the first two waves in an easier to complete mission, but that has a lower chance to drop the item, than to stay for longer in a harder mission to get to two or three C rotations? If you're doing survival, you'll have to stay for 40 minutes in order to get two C rotation rewards. Does the slight increase in drop rate justify the amount of time you'd have to spend in each mission?

If you liked Dark Sector enough I can recommend you get a single handgun (Lex Prime or Pandero) and use Orvius as melee, you can dual wield glaive weapons with a handgun and it gets its own gimmicks, Orvius is very slow by itself but is fast enough as melee with handgun and it also a homing projectile while charged up.

It's specifically designed to prevent long grinding but not actually fixing it as you're just going to run a mission x times instead of one long stretch, hence the change from keys to relics.

It's this funny thing: your scarab swarm projectiles also generate health. Couple this with the "finisher damage = massive heal for you" and you're impossible to kill. Anytime you get surrounded, press 3 and knock'em down. If they're coming from only one direction, your 1 will stunlock 50 guys for 25 energy.

Inaros is one of the best tanks, better than Rhino (but not as stompy) and on par with Nekros (but more reliable).

His 2 is hilarious, great for healing, great for stopping a bombard for nearly 30 seconds (depends on build) but for damage… it's shit.

If you want to summon sand minions with it, use the weaker fellas.

Vauban is only good for stationary defense missions, but the game's been geared towards mobility in recent updates. Titania is just a really shitty archwing in levels not designed for flight.

As for what a menial task in this game would be, I would say any of the star chart nodes on their own. Let bosses be somewhat difficult with a gimmick, like The Raptor. Something like Elite Sanctuary Onslaught should be managed by map wide AoE, and defense/shields for the person spamming the AoE. I personally would not consider Elite Sanctuary Onslaught "End-game", but rather a side mode.

I was expecting the bullets to go so slowly that you can outrun them on foot, but they are actually moving a little bit slower than Dread/Paris/Not-Rakta Cernos arrows.
