I always thought his default running speed was kind of slow and was bummed out that there was no sprint button, but now the fucker just olympic dashes everywhere whenever he uses the yoyo. Its crazy. Technically Kingdom Hearts III is the Seven game of a franchise and continues plot of the other games. The closest thing to this kind of continuous story telling is Metal Gear Solid series, Yakuza and Final Fantasy 13, and even they have less games to boot and less tied together. Gazing Eye that created the book of prophecies is actually the eye of Master of Masters. And Luxu, who was supposed to keep the No Name keyblade with that eye was seen in a prologue chapter to KH3 (Aqua part of which happens by the time KH1 ends). But the spin is that this particular gazing eye keyblade came in hand of Xehanort and Luxu was still alive during the KH1 events. Meaning Luxu might be Xehanort, or Xehanort's teacher or even Xehanort is his clone (not to mention gazing eye gets cloned on a weapon any xehanort iteration wielded including Riku). And you also don't yet know whats in the box of Luxu which M.O.M. gave to him.

I think the reality is that there are three plotlines between which there are retcons.
1. KH1's story was designed without even Organization 13 in mind. Only little plans for sequel. Main villains are all disney except Ansem.
2. KH2 already had designs of Chain of Memories in it and some ideas about Xehanort.
3. But before KH3 they needed to do additional story writing which would get story deeper and more suitable for third big game of a franchise. Its all "after kh2" non-mainline games being part of greater kh3 lore. And that includes X, BBS and DDD. And 358 days too, since Xion was never mentioned in KH2.
Basically the "enriched" the Kingdom Hearts lore to bring more side villains and characters. So somebody can replace roles of Organization 13 to not repeat the plot.

This. There's no fucking limit to them as far as I can tell. They don't fucking consume anything. All you have to do is a relatively short combo for a prompt to show up above the command menu and then you can do the "fuck you" attack that easily beats all the enemies. Shit's retarded and if it's as bad as I think it is, not even critical level 1 mode could save how embarrassingly easy this would make the game. This isn't the fucking KH2 formula.

What is the ultimate goal of Xehanort?
When he will open door to kingdom hearts to reconnect worlds again with χ-blade it will only lead to keyblade war, it won't lead to Xehanort becoming a fucking king of all existing world, it will only lead to literally everyone from all worlds wanting to kill him for even possessing the χ-blade, just like original χ-blade user died. And even if he succeeds, after keyblade war there's only one conclusion - χ-blade shatters and kingdom hearts closes and resets the worlds again. Or that's the spin on it, and the reason why Ventus was in Unchained X, like >>14815609 explained. Worlds get reincarnated into a new thing and death brings rebirth, because in KH χ spells "death".
And Xehanort probably wants Sora to wield χ-blade because he's the stronger keyblade user in the universe, and then possess his body to become god of darkness or something and find a way to manipulate what kingdom hearts does at will. That would be quite simple. But that means if Xehanort loses he still wins because kingdom hearts will kill everybody, take their hearts and will do a reset anyway, just like after first keyblade war.
I bet Nomura just wants to reconnect worlds again with second keyblade war and for Sora to become new king of light just like all symbolism of him being a king predicts. And Xehanort wants everybody to become one heart with him to create ultimate kingdom of Xehanorts, but that seems too insane.

Emulate. The eventual final mix is ages away, I hear they fucked something up in the English release of KH2FM, you can make the games look much better on your computer, the games emulate amazingly well, and save states help massively cut down on retry time, just don't use them for cheating like a nigger. Also, you should emulate the Japanese PS2 versions and apply and English patches. The English Final Mix release contains several instances of minor, but completely unnecessary censorship, and these will likely be carried over into any future English re-releases.

What autists don't realize is that Kh2 was designed to be played on critical mode. Reaction Command (Triangle) prompt is part of the boss' mechanic and needed in order to create an opening. In Critical, the reaction command is balanced and really elaborates or makes way for design to create many different types of boss fights. Of course if you play it on normal you'll just cheese it. Example: Xaldin's wind shield. he cannot be hit unless you reaction command attack him once. Same with Isa, you cannot break his berserk stance unless you grab his own weapon and smack him with it. Playing KH2 on anything but critical is like raiding in world of warcradft on raid finder, where it is not only obviously much easier but also you will miss out on important mechanics since you can simply tank and spank

Arguably, BBB is more enjoyable (not balanced, just enjoyable) than KH. the osaka team is shit though, so KH2 and KH are better in game design.
