They really don't, in the current year + 3 normalfags play and enjoy shooters without issue, the only people who've ever had issues with nausea and video games are people who didn't play them as kids. None of us have been playing VR games long enough, to have built up a specific tolerance to simulated movement in them. Currently, whether you do or don't get nauseous with VR is essentially luck. I can play fine with controller movement, but my friend who's been playing games for the last 20 years gets sick after more than 30 minutes. To stay on topic, the only explanation possible for such a half-assed romance system in the game must be that it was rushed and unfinished. The fact that the fucking Arisen's Bond doesn't actually lock your choice, but instead simply raises your affinity to max is bullshit. Specially because doing the series of quest to obtain it will probably max out your relationship with Selene, one of the few "main" love interest that doesn't leave the game after finishing their quest chain and also the only one that can make the special herb mix. This means that is pretty fucking easy to fuck up and speak to her before triggering the flag that locks your love interest. And what may be even worse, affinity also affects the prices of shops, so is easy to end with some fucking random vendor as love interest if you don't know beforehand.
