They should make Titanfall 1 and 2 free to play. It would be a good way to get feedback for the next game and it would also massively increase the amount of accounts on origin which cpuld lead to more people buying the sequel because they are more aware of its existence. Plus they can make more money off of the cosmetics in 2 because they will have a larger base of potential customers.

Had you not played Frontier Defence that much before? It was a great addition. Speaking generally, I'm glad to have hopped on the series when it was running well; I'd probably still be playing it (and bitching about their balance changes, RIP Wingman Elite you were too good for this twisted world) if they had fixed the crashing problem with AMD video cards.
What weapons did you all use? Before they allowed players to carry three weapons and consequently nerfed sidearms, I loved pairing the Wingman Elite with the Softball since I was never completely dead in the water.

2 got reworked into robot Cod, with the Titans bastardised into hero shooter characters. Can't go a single match without half the lobby using R201/CAR. The maps are bad enough to work against the player building momentum without use of grapple and stim.
Overall, the only worthwhile things in the game are the grenadier weapons and Frontier Defence. Just go back to the first game and actually have fun.

If don't like the bullet hell-lite combat then that's another 25% of the game eroded for you. I'm going to have to completely disagree with you there, tons of video games come out every single month, those two are just popular games. Generally AAA games pale in comparison to smaller games. That's partially subjective, anon. One of the biggest issues people here have with NuDoom isn't that it's new, but it's too different. It's not a very original game, either. It's slow by Doom standards and it's not remotely special.

I didn't like Titanfall 2 when I first got it and I put it down for over a year and I recently got about half way through the campaign and holy shit was that part fun as fuck then it ended. There is a WHOLE GAME worth of content with just that conceit and it's only one level. I have never seen so much restraint from a modern developer it actually made me tear up a little if I am being perfectly honest. I can't remember the last time a game shocked me with pure unspoiled fun. Probably the citadel in Half Life 2. I put that part on par with that for how genuinely surprising that whole part was. God damn man.
