In the United States? No. Soldiers were conscripted to go deal with whatever indian problem was happening at the moment and die for whatever jew-owned business wanted to setup shop in the area. Only Union civil war veterans got free property, and even then that property was in the part of the country with all the indian problems (which would later result in the disaster that was Custer's Last Stand).

Women only got the right to vote after WW1, and many were conscripted during WW2 but into non-combat roles eg nurses, forklift drivers or (famously) riveters as the military was not desegregated until after the war. There was also the women's auxiliary which did things like operate radio/radar stations.

The 19th Amendment itself originally passed because President Wilson had become mentally disabled following a stroke, as there was no official line of succession yet the First Lady defacto took over control of the country. In essence, America was already being run by a woman so Congress couldn't justify not letting them vote. Letting women vote also pushed off a bunch of other issues starting to crop up like Unionism or blacks' rights, because white women were usually just as racist as their husbands, in particular President Wilson and his wife.

This has relevance today, if one looks at the breakdown of who voted for Trump white women narrowly voted for him on the whole. Normally white women as a bloc vote conservative, like most white men do.
