Recently came into possession of an xbox 360 slim. Haven't had one since my original that survived the red rings of death got fried trying to play MGR. idk wtf happened but it killed my hard drive and fucked up the system. Didn't give a fuck at the time because of PC usually getting all the good titles on xbox any way, save exclusives of course. When did that come out? 2012?2013? What did I miss, what might I have missed before? Already getting Reach again. any thing else I should know about? does any one still play older games or are the servers even up?

I just got Dungeons & Dragons Chronicles of Mystara the other day, and it's pretty ok so far. Not the best beat-em-up, but it's got a lot of neat mechanics - a sort of inventory wheel, branching paths, a level up system, multiple classes, etc. Kind of reminds me of a more streamlined and arcadey (it is an arcade game) Dragon's Crown.

I think I just enjoyed the setting and plot more in the 40th day instead of the first one.
I also enjoyed the more co-op options in the sequel as well such as the fake surrender or the fact that you can scan and tag targets.
The first one and second one both had camera problems though so I can agree with you on that.
What made Devil's Cartel so bad? I am doing a 360 collection and it's on my list so I just want to know why was it so poorly received. Was it the new characters?

Worse movement and cover mechanics, even more linear shooting corridors, terrible weapon customization, and a total bastardization of the small amounts of lore and character traits the series had built up to that point. Okay, I guess I have to now. I was in the GameStop for about the entire afternoon at that point, because it was a hot summer day outside and the store has AC. I'm cool with the guy behind the register, so he lets me hang out there whenever. I was at one end of the store when heard someone grieving at the register about something-or-other - it's some Blonde Puerto Rican lady and her little boy, dissatisfied with the offering price of the Xbone they're trying to sell to my guy behind the register. It's dinged up and has scratches all over it, but she says that no one ever used it, so there shouldn't be any reason why they should get a larger amount for it.
>What's going on over here?
<These people are trying to cheat me out of the sell, they just want all the money and want to sell it at a high price
She thought she was so profound for understanding how a basic business works.
>Well how much are they offering?
<They not giving me nothing for it, they think I'm stupid or something
>"We can only give her $50 for it, bro. We would have to send it in for refurbishing, it's scratched to hell."
>Shoot, I'll buy it from you.
I had like $35 on me, which wasn't enough to beat the offer, but I had my 3DS and Smash on me.
>I've got this much, but I see your son has a 3DS, do you think you'll want this game? It's very popular at the moment, he'll love it.
<No, we just want the money
>Alright, how about, I sell it to the man, we see how much it's worth, how's that?
Fucking made $20 from the sale, and walked away with that Xbone for less than $60. It's great because my 3DS was already softmodded with Freeshop and I had dumped my save beforehand.
>"You're a piece of shit dude, you know that?"
>Yeah, but I'm a piece of shit with a $60 Xbone, baby

that's a good story, I lied before, I actually do have an xbone but it's been sitting in my trunk for at least 6 months. I just haven't moved out, all the parts are there (power supply, controller, no hdmi but whatever.) I work at a game shop and the system was bought by a co-worker who begrudgingly accepted it under the premise that "gamestop would have taken it." (she knew this, she was former gamestop before working with me.) The boss disappointed she picked up a system which is missing part of its plastic (the side plating by the USB port) and asked if I wanted it. I said not really but he insisted if I don't he'll just throw it out. So I've had one of those things in my trunk for months.
Can't say I'm interested in hooking it up. I'd rather play my PS4 any day.

Actually, I could have gotten a Switch for $40 the same way a few months ago, but the case that time was that it wasn't connecting to the store Wi-Fi for some reason, and the register lady thought that she couldn't take it due to that. I whispered to the fool, "Yo, if they can't take this, how about I give you all the dough in my pocket for it". Unfortunately the other guy working that night was done servicing someone else and clarified to her that yes, they could take it regardless if the fact. They gave the guy $120 for it, so there was no way I was beating them that time. >>14571131
