The Pro controllers make much more sense for most use anyway, the Joycons have been uncomfortable on the brief occasions I've used a Switch. They're a bit too thin and the button placement was poor.
No matter what controller you use, though, the Switch Gyro controls are much worse than they were on the Wii U.
