Also this. The public servers and chat is full of redditors playing the latest meme game. The superior option will always be to play the games in person, but if you really want to use TTS, I will say that it is a perfectly serviceable program. It does what it's supposed to do and works for a wide variety of games, though it can feel a little clunky and slow at times.
What you need is a reliable, civilized group who actually wants to play a game. Getting some random anons into a room and maybe two of them will have mics, and most will want to shitpost and fuck around, throwing things across the table, spawning random bits of stuff, and drawing dicks all over the table. If you can get past that phase and actually set up a game, it's not that bad.
