I can tolerate clipping in video games but only when there's a really good reason for it, like long, freely flowing hair (which is a huge pain in the ass to animate and program in the first place, so I applaud any dev who goes through with it anyway) giant weapons, and bulky armor (though usually the best solution to bulky armor is to just not have it, it usually looks stupid and unnecessary).
Where I absolutely cannot tolerate clipping is in my porn. Especially because I'm into hyper. Nothing kills my boner faster than seeing a pair of balls phasing into someone's legs like they're fucking ghost balls or something.
