Besides that, you have your standard Arcade, Time Attack and Survival with a nice gallery to unlock stuff.

I really didn't like the fact that the sprites were traced from 3D models. It really kind of defeats the purpose of 2D if your putting resources into 3D already then 2D. Nakoruru is one of the few really bad characters in the game, cause she doesn't do enough damage. Blockstrings don't exist pretty much at all in the game so you need to space things to not get punished. If your opponent is jumpy, start anti airing their ass.

The game is super fun and has a lot of very varied offense, I'd recommend spending some time on the mizuumi wiki for the game reading up on all the system mechanics so you can use them to your benefit.

What I like about it is that it's more balanced than pretty much any other fighter out there. At the last world cup, 24 of the 29 available characters saw appearances in a 32 man bracket. That kind of character diversity is unheard of in other fighters.

His AB moves, while extremely damaging, are probably some of the biggest commits in the game because they completely wipe his sword gauge on whiff. There's two ways. The first way is to record the enemy blocking/dping on wakeup. Let's say I want to practice May safejumps vs Sol. I time the recordings so that when I press 2D and play at the same time Sol will either block or wakeup dp (make sure it says reversal). It takes a few tries to get the timing, but here's the way Kedako does it. He records a long blank recording. He hits 2D and play at the same time. He goes for a meaty and watches the number when the meaty hits. Make a new recording and try to do your wakeup action around the number from earlier. The second way is with https://github.com/Labreezy/rev2-wakeup-tool but it's kinda buggy. When I use it there are times when it doesn't do the action on wakeup but a second later, so they get hit by a meaty instead of dping. Instead of using it as intended, I like to use it to playback blocking recordings on random so I can practice hitconfirming mixups.
