Small vidya that you recently enjoyed thread

Itt we post small vidya we recently enjoyed, give a brief description what they are like, torrents are nonobligatory but they are a nice addition

First game: Battle Brothers

Low fantasy medieval mercenary company simulator, pretty complex and hard, turn based strategy. Interesting artstyle, lots of customization of gear options you have pick, cleavers, swords, polearms, axes, maces, spears etc… Doesnt really have a story, cities on the map are semi randomly generated. Definitly worth a pirate/buy if you like turn based strategy.

Second game: Deadbolt

Side scroller, somewhat similar to hotline miami one hit equals death, fast gameplay, memorization of levels and enemy placement You take a role of Grim Reaper and put undead back underground, Zombies, Vampires, Demons and spooky skelletons included. Pretty decent story, enough levels and around 6 hours of playtime.

Third game: Cold Waters

Something for cold war submarine warfare autists, you take command of one of the US submarines during cold war, decent simulation of submarine warfare and a pretty good game overall.

forgot screenshot. obviously as you get hit by fire/flak your plane will get real-time holes, and you'll have to deal with shit like catastrophic fires that need to be extinguished, losing engines, needing to fix fuel leaks or disabled engines by sending an engineer onto the wings while in flight, and trying to land with only one working landing gear while totally out of fuel. sometimes the only option is to bail out or try to make an emergency crash landing and hope that your guys get picked up (training new guys sucks)

Gotta love current year. But yeah, flying into enemy territory is stressful because I NEVER HAVE ENOUGH FRACKING FUEL to return home. Gunners ten to do an okay job but directing the plane, making sure I'm on course, watching fuel and lining up bombing sights are a pain to get use to.

Been playing Bridge Commander again, just to remind me what ST is compared to STD.

I kind of liked Heat Signature, shame all the generated ships look like ass. They look more like space stations than anything.

Does this count as a small game? I loved the visuals, the boss mechanics, and the music especially. The only boss that seemed a little boring was that one guy in the blue armor and the shield. Still stuck in the bonus level where you can kill the UFO containing all your kind

I played Pan-Pan on Switch. It was pretty good. Fairly cheap, but very, very short (less than two hours and I got stuck and ate a meal during that time).

The visuals are comfy and minimal, the puzzles are fun to solve, and there's no tutorial bullshit to annoy you. It just drops you on an alien planet and lets you figure out what's what.

I'd recommend it if you like adventure/puzzle games.

I also played Vaccine. Unless you have a love of both shitty rogue-likes and survival horror games, avoid this. I enjoyed getting the best ending once, but it didn't take long (required some luck with the random drops) and I've fucked around with it a bit since but I doubt I'll ever play it again now.

I ended up trying it, got lucky with losing a pilot at sea, still have women which may be even more ridiculous. It's pretty good aside from that trash.
