I don't think it was anyone from here that came up with the original suggestion of a stream. I asked the BV that does the daily streams to do it because it was easy enough to set up as we already use streamchan. I was reluctant to do it at first, as I was concerned that having the stream run by anons from 8chan could potentially cause drama in the threads on 4chan.

The situation here could mirror what already happens on 4chan. I suppose with the decline of 4chan it would happen anyway. It's down to several things.
<chroma and saturation
While the hues are different, their saturation under the same lighting are the same. In RGB colour space this is achieved by having two of three channels at a similar value. It's basically clever colour design.
<diffusion and focus
Bright areas of light are diffused into the surrounding area. Soft focus is used in the background, with sharp focus being used in the forground, this creates depth of field, a sense of perspective. I attempted to replicate this in PA.
<the use of an overlay filter
Again this keeps the lighting of an entire frame consistent across both the background and the characters.

It would be cinematography. I don't actually know a large amount about this, my understanding comes from the related field of photography. If you want to learn about either field, the best place to start would be the fundamentals of art and design. This will cover basic colour theory and composition, the founding principals of all artistic mediums. Once you grasp this, everything from how the human eye perceives colour, to the paint pigments used in fine art and even the invention of the CRT, will all start to make sense. You can then go into the more complex and indepth subjects within cinematography, such as lighting and processing in a digital colour space. I'll see if I can dig out some of my old photography books and scan them.

Yes, it's possible to use a digital camera. Use a homemade lightbox, to create soft diffused lighting. Bouncing a lamp off of a wall into the illumination area would also work. How exactly you would do the rest depends on you're equipment.
If you've got a SLR then use the macro function of a telephoto lens. I'd use a wide aperture/low f-stop to decrease exposure time. If you also have a tripod, it isn't as much of a concern. Set the white balance to match the type of bulb you are using as a light source. Use a slower ISO setting to reduce grain.
If your using a compact or bridge then use it's built in macro function and set the white balance.
When taking the shot remember to keep the camera at near enough the same angle as the subject, this will avoid distortion caused by perspective. For example if the subject is at 45°, point the lens at a 45° angle.

As it's known that the new Midoriko will appear early in the Conflated, it's possible that Hitoe could have become a selector again during the events of Incited or the time between the end of Incited and the start of OVA. Ruuko could already be aware of what is happening before she is approached by Kiyoi. What I don't understand is how does Kiyoi know that it was Ruuko who ended Mayu's selector system. Mayu returned her to her own body before Mayu's final battle with Ruuko.

The technology probably exists already. I did it in Photoshop because that's what I know how to use. It's likely that a similar result can be achieved in After Effects or even Blender. I don't think I've ever looked as closely into how an anime was produced before wixoss. It never occurred to me to apply what I know to anime until it was discussed in the threads. It's just a matter of capturing the interest of someone that knows how to edit video.

You know? The way you put it makes me realize the mistake in my reasoning. Financially it makes sense for Tama to appear again as a LRIG due her being the official WIXOSS mascot for the TCG Game despite Yuki, our goddess, appearing again makes more sense with Lostorage's themes assuming Destructed is canon. Obviously if Destructed is not canon then Tama or Mayu appearing again is 100% guaranteed. At this point I should resign myself to expect nothing from the next series and just accept what it will give us. Yet in the end I'm just too convinced about how Yuki appearing again contributes a lot to Ruuko for a second-character development in the series and how her sole presence goes well along with what Lostorage has been about since Incited. The idea sounds very good but considering this is anime is most likely the execution won't deliver. It pains me such interesting idea, which is right in front of their noses, is something we will never watch unfold.

I think for me it just feels kinda wrong that after all the abuse at Mayu's hands that basically only Tama exists in both Destructed and Spread at the end of the series. And nothing is said about it either. Ruuko clearly cared for both of them but Tama is Pikachu so let's never speak of Yuki ever again. Feels like we got no resolution in this regard other than maybe Tama turns into Yuki as she gets older (maybe) and that just doesn't feel right since both of them became so different due to Mayu.
Another yuri show did something similar to this but let all three girls get bodies at the end and be their own separate people since they all had changed to a point that none were really the same girl anymore.

At this point Kiyoi's LRIG 2.0 reminds me how she sees herself hence Piruluk Allos is somehow stoic but at the same time seems not to be corrupted with the bad memories she held. I'm impressed she didn't got Remember like it appears in the storyboards. Now talking about the personality that's an issue with Lostorage series: since LRIGs 2.0 are no humans they do not behave like ones and their interactions were only significant with their selectors rather than other LRIGs which makes sense but constraints dynamics. If Tama happened to be Ruu's LRIG 2.0 she is most likely to be the same Tama from Infected and how she likes to batoru in the good sense of the word. In the other hand, Yuki as a LRIG 2.0 cannot work is she is based as the same LRIG she became in Spread but if she appears with Iona's personality i.e her Infected persona it adds conflict to Ruuko's character since her getting Iona instead of Yuki is the embodiment of the forgotten joy for the batoru regardless the consequences she taste it for the first time with her, it's the reminder she was the strongest selector in the original system run and represents her repressed batoru lust since she stopped being a selector. Since Kiyoi is most likely to become the MC this time I sense her LRIG being neutral mix of good and bad memories, Suzuko got Ril which is a LRIG based from good memories and due her wish she can get her again and finally to add balance to the trinity if Ruuko gets a LRIG her getting the bad LRIG completes the idea. Who would have imagined after all this time our heroine who managed to save Mayu and ended the original in Conflated became a selector again and got a LRIG 2.0 who is a Children of Dark/LRIG based from bad memories which got Yuki's design but with her original colors. Leaving this aside I just hope the new series delivers something it can carry the anime for 12 episodes with improved production values and direction.
