Downloaded the OST long time ago and I realized the same but thanks to the streams I noticed Selector also shares that issue. For example you never happen to hear Spread's OST Door.mp3 which is a very powerful track. About The OST is competent enough and has a different flavour from Selector's counterpart but personally there are tracks in Lostorage Incited I liked more despite being used poorly.

It realistically isn't, the fakes that we have had naming schemes that set them apart,
the new Midoriko is written in different kanji and allos always has allos in her name, also Carnival doesn't look anything like flashback LRIG Satomi
who has wings a feature Carnival has never shown.
Anyways I have a feeling if Guzuko got an LRIG it might be a more aggressive version of herself, her "life" was
mostly spent with Sumida after all, so pretty much proto Guzuko ironically.

Exactly, she did not have any motivation to be a selector more than being blackmailed by the system then finding a purpose to reclaim her girl. Did she needed to be a selector to succed in her goals? Ril made her remember who Suzu truly was and then she became the embodiment of an alpha female but she did not have to rely on the rewards of complete the conditions of the battle hence she thematically 'fuck off's the overall theme of memories of the series.

That is what I've thinking the old system just wanted to milk suffering from the selectors meanwhile this new system either rewards you, left you some deep mental scars or erases your entire existence. Memories aren't that important beyond these being the stakes sadly.
