Pope Pius XII died a month later.
Cardinal Bugnini was most likely a Freemason or worse. He would later gloat the the changes he made to the eternal Mass of the Council of Trent was the bridge to the heretical Novus Ordo mass.
I'm not sure I believe that Pope Pius XII approved this mass or could approve it, given the proximity of his death.
