They have a universal joint system so every lbx has parts that fit onto other lbx, plus a fighting system like xevoz. You even build the weird xevoz 6 sided dice.

Hasbro's Hero Mashers and Kaiyodo's Assemble Borg come to mind.

As others have said, Chima Chi Builds and Danball-Senki LBX kits.

Also, for some reason hate the Hero Mashers, is not the same when you use known characters, Xevoz felt so unique in their generic ways, too bad is dead
