I want to start building models, but I don't want to paint any of them as of now, do you guys have any reccomendations for model kits? I'm particularly interested in model kits of mechas, and I'm a fan of Evangelion if that helps.

also anubis from ZOE was the very first thing shown on google images when I searched model kits, how cool it that?

What'd you get? You should start building some stuff first before you move onto painting.

Some Tamiya and Hasegawa plane and tank kits and some Gunpla.

Gunpla is easy, start there. If the planes are snap builds, do those before gunpla BC planes are usually easier.
