Valve once again dropped the ball on this update.

So what does Valve do? They update mannpower and add fucking taunts.

Loch n' Load is a bad weapon anyway and only scrubs use it.

Danger Shield and Cola are banned in competitive play.

This is pretty shitty and pisses me off.

Hit detection has always been an issue in Source games.

At least they fixed the Gunslinger exploit.

I think Mannpower mode is fun and it's something different to do once you get bored of pubs and lobbies; and it's 100x better than shit like prop hunt and Saxton Hale. Also the new map is baller as fuck.

Some of the recent changes for mannpower are odd. They disabled not only random crits, but also damage spread, and increased melee damage. Why? It's more random than the normal game… Maybe valve is up to more than just gathering data on tweaking a stupid gamemode…

I braved entering a mannpower game and found this. The F2Ps congregate around their own intelligence in nests while the hatted players play attempt to score points and get power ups. Maybe 20-50% F2P.
