I think this is the worst weapon in the game, the sun on a stick can be useful about one time every month but this garbage is horrible for this reason, as a Pyro you're a close combat class, if you can get close enough to melee them then you're close enough to teach them about fire and friendship. It is truly useless outside of medieval mode

For example I've had one heavy effortlessly mow down three heavies by himself all because of this medigun. Also remember that in pubs people aren't exactly organized, so even if they do have a mixture of classes, the scout will be fighting you before the soldier does, and this gun builds uber in 5 seconds. Also btw something not many players know if you airblast someone up then run under them and swing it registers as behind them and does the full 195, I don't recommend relying on it though.
I can get the appeal of the HW or PJ for support pyros but I have an extremely aggressive playstyle and axtinguisher is still what gives me the best results.

Honestly what they need to do to fix the SS is remove charge entirely, and give it a fixed base and headshot damage. The biggest issue with it right now is the jarate effect takes far too long to use and since a fully charged bodyshot does 150 most of the time you're just going to kill them in the process so there's no point.
With these stats less skilled snipers can still jarate a shitload of people but it doesn't get rid of the skill ceiling of stock and gives players who can aim a way of putting out lots of damage. Something around 30 bodyshot damage and 110 headshot should be about right.
